Loren began her career in the museum world, working as a textile conservator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and American Museum of Natural History in New York City. Her curiosity, propensity for creation and passion for prehistory led her down a natural path to the study of ancient metalsmithing. While in New York, Loren studied with various master goldsmiths specializing in Ancient Greek technology. The construction and precision involved in metlaworking aligned were her conservation skills, allowing her to excel.

After two years of study, Loren realized her passion for jewelry creation, emanating in the birth of LOREN NICOLE. From conception to fruition, each piece is designed and entirely handmade by Loren in her Venice, California studio. Her designs are embedded in ancient aesthetics, bringing a timeless elegance to each work of art.
